Calibrating Torque Screwdrivers
Calibrating a torque screwdriver or torque meter insures that they perform within their technical specifications. For example must torque screwdrivers have a min and max torque value along with a % standard torque deviation. By having a screwdriver calibrated you are ensuring that a screwdriver maintains its % standard torque deviation at its min, max, and several torques values between the min and the max. All of our torque screwdrivers and meters come with a manufactures certification stating that the screwdriver operates within its specification. Express Assembly offers a Calibration Certification program for all Screwdrivers and Torque Meters that we sell. A “A2LA” accredited certification lab performs the certification. In order to maintain accuracy, it is crucial that torque control equipment be calibrated regularly. We recommend a general 12 month calibration interval.
