Lever Start (EA Series)
The EA Lever Series is a light weight screwdriver with an ergonomic design to ensure the operator's comfort. The EA Lever Series screwdrivers are DC electric screwdrivers that come with an external power supply. The power supplies plug into either a 112V or 220V source and convert to a DC 20V or 30V depending on the screwdriver. The EA Lever Series screwdrivers come with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protective housing. ESD protection is a must when working with sensitive electronic parts such as circuit boards.
All EA Lever Series screwdrivers have a Full Auto Shut-Off clutch that completely stops the bit of the screwdriver from turning once the preset torque is reached. At this point, the motor of the screwdriver shuts off. This ensures that the fastener is not damaged by the screwdriver's bit.
The operator engages the screwdriver by applying a slight amount of pressure on the trigger lever. The EA Lever Series are fully automated, turning on with a slight force to the screwdriver's lever and turning off once the torque setting is reached. The torque setting is set by adjusting the Stepless Torque Adjuster at the tip of the screwdriver. External brush covers make changing the brushes easy. All screwdrivers come with a one year warranty on parts and a 30 day evaluation period. (Fig. 2)
