The EA-1040S (ESD) is a small lightweight lever-start screwdriver with an EDS (Electrostatic Discharge) housing designed to ensure operator’s comfort.   This screwdriver has a bushless moter and a full Auto Shut-Off clutch that completely stops the bit once the torque setting is reached.   This feature ensures that the fastener is not damaged by the screwdriver's bit.   The EA-1040S (ESD) requires a DC 12 volt converter (APS-12A) which is provided with the screwdriver.    Common usages for this screwdriver are assembly fastening applications that require precision torque control and ESD protection.
