The SMP air nut runner utilizes a push to start clutch that starts turning once pressure is applied to the bit of the screwdriver. The tool’s bit stops turning once the user’s predefined torque setting is reached. Depending on your assembly application’s design, our nutrunners can also be customized to run in either direction at the start of air flow (please call for more information on customization).
