Why choose a tool stand
Tool stands improve the performance of the operator by positioning the Torque Screwdriver near the work piece assembly and by providing quick access to the torque screwdriver as it hangs directly over the application. Having the Torque Screwdriver hanging above the operators assembly keeps the work bench clean and uncluttered. Tool stands are an inexpensive way to protect your investment and are highly recommended. They protect Torque Screwdrivers from accidental damage. Such as being knocked off the work bench or being impaired by other items within your work space.
The counter force of Spring Balancer supports tool loads with cable tension equal to the weight of the suspended tools, making them seem virtually weightless. Spring Balancers provide constant tension on the cable, accomplished with a spring motor and a tapered drum. The balancer extends or retracts the support cable to follow the tool’s movements. The assembler can reposition the tool, while experiencing comfortable operation and less fatigue. They are ideal for positioning an assembly tool above a work part keeping the work area clean and clear from clutter. With the weight of the tool being countered by a tension spring, this allows the operator to position the tools at any location, as if the tool is floating. When purchasing a spring balancer make sure your tool’s weight falls within the weight capacity of the spring balancer.
Allow for management of cables for electric tools and air hoses for air tools. Insufficient hose or cable management on reciprocating or moving machinery can result in premature rupture of hoses and cables. There are a number of causes such as wear, abrasion, kinking, being caught in machinery or passing in-house traffic. Irrespective of cause, the result is the same; increased maintenance costs through machine down time, plus the cost of repairs, and consequential damage.
Hoses and cables lying around shop floors or hanging from ceilings can cause potential problems affecting maintenance costs and creating a potentially unsafe work area. Safety first matters.
